The Project
Kerr Recruitment selected us to develop a new website as part of a larger re-branding and marketing project undertaken by the company whereby the business wanted to revamp its corporate identity both offline and online. A new website was seen to play a vital role in this plan; firstly by conveying and reflecting the new identity but also by extending the services offered online and through digital channels. The project was entrusted to Webcraft together with our partners Positive Advertising (UK) who would provide the broad digital and traditional marketing skills and services required within this project.
From the start, the objectives identified for the new website were to focus on the recruitment of applicants online as well as the provision of improved recruitment services for their corporate customers.
Our Soluton
Webcraft delivered a new web portal to Kerr Recruiment on time and within budget. The solution incorporates a number of unique and tailor-made solutions for this client as well as a selection of online tools from the Webcraft platform. Here are the highlights:
Geo-Mapping
A powereful geo-mapping facility allows candidates to visually browse and search through the job database on a map. This unique features makes it easy to locate jobs within desired areas, as simply as typing in your postcode. The Geo-Mapping facility makes use of Google Maps to provide vacancies by locality and up-to-date mapping data.
Truly Multi-Lingual
Every page, feature and facility on the new website is provided in multiple languages, primarily English and French. Offered through two separate web domains (.co.uk and .fr) the portal is designed to attract visitors and customers from both the UK and the French markets, with plans to extend to other countries in the future.
Online Registrations
Once candidates locate job opportunities of interest to them, the website is designed to allow applicants to complete their registration and submission process. A simple registration process allows candidates to submit their personal details as well as load their personal CV. The whole process takes just minutes.
Mobile Responsive
The new website was designed from the ground up with mobile devices in mind. This means that every aspect and feature of the website is equally accessible on desktop, tablet and smartphone devices making the portal reachable by the maximum number of users.
Blog
Webcraft's Inbound Marketing platform powers the company's blogs and many other features on the new portal. This provides a feature rich, yet fully integrated blog that generates interest and helps search engine visibility.
The new Kerr Recruitment portal is powered by Webcraft's WorkSpace Cloud platform providing a truly complete technology setup and a flexible software backoffice. The capabilities of the software solution allws the company to fully control and manage the business operations available through the website. These include the management of secure candidate information, employers as well as the entire job applications process.
Open API Integration
Leveraging the open API integration options offered by the WorkSpace platform, virtually all aspects of the daily business processes could be fully automated by achieving a high level of integration between the website and the company's existing in-house software systems.
