Since 2011 Webcraft has been working closely with the Malta Business Bureau as part of the EU Life+ Investing in Water project. The project aims to help businesses and hotels throughout Malta and Gozo identify and take advantage of water saving opportunities. Here are the highlights of the solution delivered and how it worked out for the client.

Earlier this year Webcraft launched the EU Life+ website, dedicated to water and water awareness; the site is powered by Webcraft's latest generation WorkSpace™ platform and takes advantage of content management and other popular WorkSpace apps. The cloud-based, easy to use package enables the MBB and EU Life+ staff to take full control of the website content remotely whilst ensuring the website is fresh and interactive. Featuring multiple media types, text articles, photography as well as video resources, the website makes for interesting reading and a rich resource for industry and the public at large.
Self Assessment Tool
In addition to the new website Webcraft have also developed and launched a free online water-saving assessment app, a powerful and easily accessible tool that helps viewers realise their water saving potential. Users provide key water consumption data and values to obtain an instant online assessment and analysis based on recommendations and stanrards, typically used by water audit specialists. The tool concludes by recommending specific water saving solutions and calculates the quantity and costs that can be saved.
